The beautiful, classic
Style
1 Tricone from
National Reso-Phonic
Guitars is now available for immediate delivery. This
new 2007 model guitar is patterned after the original instrument made
in 1927 with its
functional Art Deco industrial design. It is made of brass, highly
polished and bright nickel plated. The round, mahogany neck has an
ivoroid bound ebony fingerboard. The slotted headstock has the National
decal and three-on-a-plate vintage-style tuners.
The guitar pictured to the left has a square neck, but
the one I have for sale is the
standard, round neck model.
I love the tricone sound! The National tricone has the tone that
National inventor John Dopyera described as, "flows like a river."
Artists that have recorded and perform with the National Tricone
include
Tampa Red, Sol
Hoopii, Bob Brozman, Paul Rishell, myself and
many others. It's full of rich harmonics and sustain that is especially
rich for bottleneck slide, but is also a very versatile guitar.
National Reso-Phonic Guitars
are the very best, and you'll most likely have the shiniest, coolest
guitar in town!
Guitar includes hard case,
with
no sales tax
outside of Iowa.
Price of
$2670
is a little bit
more
than 20% off of the list price of $3348. UPS
Ground shipping cost is additional; within the USA it's from
$35-$70, depending on where you live. Enquire
about shipping outside of the US. I only charge the actual shipping
price. Feel free to call me at
319-338-3614
or
email
me anytime.
Also, you can have a
Highlander
Magnophonic Pickup
added at the factory for
$360
more. The list price is $450, so it's
20% off that, too.
These pickups are hard to retrofit, so it's best to have them put on at
the
factory if you think you'd want one.
Highlanders are the very best, most natural-sounding pickups, and the
Magnaphonic was developed especially for the tricone. I have
them in all of my tricones and love 'em.
Also, if you want a
strap
button added, that's
$10
more
I don't often have guitars in stock; here's a chance to get a great
deal on a classic National and have it delivered to you in a few days!
And, if you find a better price, I may be willing to match
it. Any questions, please do
email me.
