World-touring acoustic blues pioneer CATFISH KEITH presents his 21st album, Still I Long To Roam, a collection of originals and reinvented classic songs from Memphis icon Frank Stokes, piano balladeer Cecil Gant, gospel firebrand Sister Rosetta Tharpe, the scary-good Blind Willie Johnson, Mississippi John Hurt, Little Hat Jones, singing Governor of Louisiana Jimmie Davis, New Orleans icon Professor Longhair, Tommy Johnson and the Mississippi Sheiks.
Catfish was born in East Chicago, Indiana, in 1962. Since he was a teenager, he has been touring North America, the UK, Ireland, Europe and Asia, spellbinding audiences everywhere he goes. In autumn, 2022 he is embarking on his 51st concert tour of the UK & Europe since 1992, and the journey continues.
Catfish won the BLUES BLAST MUSIC AWARDS for BEST ACOUSTIC BLUES ALBUM & BEST ACOUSTIC GUITAR In 2022. He also won for Best Acoustic Blues Album In 2021 and in 2019. He has been nominated six times for BLUES MUSIC AWARDS, and considered for nominations for GRAMMY AWARDS fourteen times. In 2008 he was inducted into the IA BLUES HALL OF FAME.
His albums get continued airplay, and have reached NUMBER ONE on hundreds of radio stations around the globe. He has performed with legends Ray Charles, John Lee Hooker, Robert Cray, Johnny Shines, Jessie Mae Hemphill, Leo Kottke, John Fahey, The Everly Brothers, and countless others.
