(FTRCD021) 2023
World-touring acoustic blues pioneer CATFISH KEITH presents his 22nd album, Wild Ox Moan, an all-new 15-song collection of four originals, and ripe reinvented classic songs from Vera Hall, Blind Lemon Jefferson, Big Bill Broonzy, Blind Joe Taggart, Rev. Edward W. Clayborn, Nancy Wilson, Sons of the Pioneers, Lil Son Jackson, Blind Blake and more.
This was recorded in late August, 2023. Catfish says, “Our tenth album project at Luke Tweedy’s Flat Black Studios! The room just vibrates beautifully with all the guitars in there, and that comes through in these recordings. Hope you love it as much as I enjoyed playing for you.”
